This 19 foot Gar Wood runabout is often regarded as one of the builder's most beautiful models under 20 feet. It is also believed that "Design Perfection" was achieved in the 1937-1941 models. A total of 34 19 foot Custom Runabouts were built in 1937 and the model numbers for this series ranged from model 720-724 depending on options. This model 721 was the 6th boat built in 1937. She has been beautifully restored and features a replaced no-soak bottom, 12 volt system, nice interior, and beautiful chrome. The Custom Runabout was introduced in 1937 to replace the popular 18' Special. This new design offered ample passenger room and many options for powerplants.
