22 Feet 1964 Shepherd Runabout
This is a spacious late-model Shepherd with a restoration nearly completed. A professional shop has refastened much of the boat, replaced planking where necessary, completely refinished the hull and outfitted the boat with hardware. The Chrysler engine has been rebuilt and is installed. All that is necessary to complete the project is new upholstery and some chrome plating. The bottom is original, in good condition and sound. An original convertible top is included.
18 Feet 1957 Shepherd Model-105 Runabout
Model 105, “Candy Cane” is one of two red and white Shepherds built for the Montreal Exposition in 1957. She is a very original boat in great condition. The V-Drive Chrysler engine with dual carburetors is original to the boat, has been rebuilt and runs well. All hardware is complete and in good condition; the upholstery is new. Original un-restored convertible top included.
18 Feet 1956 Shepherd Model-105 Runabout
Built by Shepherd Boats, Niagara on the Lake, ON; the company was known for producing well-built and strong hulls, capable of handling the rough waters of Lake Ontario. he model 105 was a v-drive configuration 18’ Runabout. The 105 was one of Shepherd’s most popular runabout models, after the 110 Runabout, which was a 22’ model. Powered by a 6 cylinder Chrysler Crown engine, the 18 footer was well powered, fast, and nimble for a boat of its size. This example was originally restored in the 1980's and has only had 2 owners since that time. She has been maintained annually and remains in good overall condition today. Original factory-option dual spotlights and her original convertible top has been recently replaced. The Chrysler Crown 110hp engine has been fully rebuilt and has very few hours of run time since completed. The bottom was also stripped and repainted last season. Sold complete with a single axle trailer that fits the boat well!
16 Feet 1957 Shepherd Model 95 Outboard
Up for sale is our 1957 Shepherd Model 95 outboard. I began this restoration about 2011 and completed in 2017. Complete bottom and transom and dash replacement by Ken Wykes in Ontario, Canada. He is "The Shepherd expert". All hull sides and decks disassembled and restored. Some frames in decks replaced in stern deck. The seats completely disassembled, rebuilt/restored. 98% of hull sides and decks are original wood. Chrome work is great. Decks and hull sides have 12 coats of Epiphanes varnish. Copper Bronze bottom paint. The 1957 35hp Johnson Javelin completed restored. This is a beautiful boat with only about 20hrs of run time since restoration completed. The boat sits on a 1993 Shorelander trailer. Boat and trailer have clean "Transferrable" registrations and are ready to go.
33 Feet 1963 Shepherd Express
This beautiful Shepherd boat is the same model of boat that JFK had back in the 60's, although the hard top on ours extends to the full length. It is a very classy, comfortable boat with sleep space for six people. 2 piece head and functional galley plus lots of cabin space. First time we saw it, we loved it and for 16 years it has been our little get away on the lake. Everywhere we go people stop to admire this classic. This boat is in good shape. Every year it been in the water and enjoyed. Maintenance has been done on a regular basis as needed. Price includes: boat manual, cookstove, kitchen dishes and utensils, original working refrigerator, original covers for the front teak deck and teak walkways, large winter storage tarp, emergency equipment, 30 amp shore power cable, spare parts, etc.
24 Feet 1954 Shepherd Sedan Runabout
Built in Niagara on the Lake, Shepherd boats were well known for their strong construction and ability to handle rough water conditions. This example was the 3rd 24 footer built in 1954 and equipped with the optional hard top configuration, which featured extended cockpit space and additional seating behind the captain's position. Factory equipped with a 220hp Chrysler Marine Hemi V8 with dual carburetors, she is well powered for her size. She has her original spotlight on the foredeck and three covers are included with the sale. The current owner has enjoyed the boat on many ACBS trips throughout the Eastern US and into Canada. At the time of restoration, the boat received a new transom, chines, ceiling panels, flooring, interior upholstery, and a replacement fuel tank, in addition to full cosmetics. The Chrysler Hemi was also rebuilt at this time. This is a go-anywhere boat that is very well appointed and ready to enjoy. Sold complete with a custom tandem axle trailer.
16 Feet 1958 Shepherd SkiBee
This is a sparkling boat that will turn heads. Recent restoration by Frontier Classics in Charlevoix, MI. Original owner had the boat custom ordered with the V8 to race a Chris Craft Cobra. Boat underwent a recent restoration by Frontier Classics in Charlevoix Mi. Which included a refinish of entire hull, Polished Chrome and new upholstery. The bottom is original but swells up nice and is worry free. Ford interceptor runs great and is a strong engine for this boat. This was a custom ordered ski bee in 1958 with rear fins on each side and the V8 engine which was quoted as being strong enough to pull up 10 skiers. The boat has not been used since 2016 but has always been kept indoors. This boat needs nothing except a new owner. Yacht club trailer has new tires and is very road worthy.
22 Feet 1953 Shepherd Runabout
In the water last season and ready to enjoy. This 22' Shepherd is in very nice condition and has had much work done recently, including a new fuel tank, general tuneup, and paint/varnish. Excellent rough water boat, built in Niagara on the Lake. Interior, chrome, finish, etc all in very good shape. She is complete with a tandem axle trailer, custom mooring cover, and a convertible top that has not yet been used. Shepherd boats are very popular for their build quality, high freeboard, and comfortable ride.
25 Feet 1963 Shepherd Express Cruiser
I got this to make a playhouse for my grandkids. Then after some research I realized that it is a treasured boat when restored. It is in rough condition but everything seems to be there including the drive train. I think it would be best if it was saved rather than scrapped as I realize that these boats are treasured by folks who appreciate Antique and Classic boats.
16 Feet 1956 Shepherd Ski Bee
Purchased in Upstate New York in 2009 with engine that did not run. Had the engine rebuilt in Auburn, IN by a shop that rebuilds antique engines and it runs like new with approximately 40 hours on the engine since the rebuild. Upholstery, linoleum and all interior is in excellent condition. Chrome and all bright work in excellent condition with no pitting. Has it's original gauges, spotlights and flag with mooring light. Exterior finish needs attention but the wood is sound.
27 Feet 1953 Shepherd Express Cruiser
This amazing craft has been [painstakingly restored and is Hull # 13 in the first series of 27 Foot Shepherds built with a 9 foot 6 inch beam. The twin Hemi engines were just overhauled including the Chrysler V- Drive transmissions. The sides have been refastened and the bottom is in solid overall condition. 15 coats of Epiphane varnish complete the boat along with a windlass, a custom built mahogany swim platform and bubinga and teak grating on the floor in the boat. A proven Show Winner that's cores very high and sold with a full weather max waterline cover.
16 Feet 1958 Shepherd Ski Bee Runabout
This little Shepherd Ski Bee has been beautifully restored and is in wonderful condition. The Universal engine has been rebuilt using a brand new, old stock engine block. Completely detailed out and in good running condition. The upholstery has been redone as original. Chrome and varnish are in great shape. Original, optional deck mounted Brydon spotlight. Complete with a custom cover and single axle trailer.
41 Feet 1960 Shepherd Cruiser
This 1960's Shepherd Cruiser is a rare and seldom seen boat. The boat has in the water this season but needs attention. Most of the interior cabin has been disassembled so as to allow for better ventilation. The engines run smooth and strong which will allow the new owner to focus on the visual aspects such as paint and varnish. This is a great Canadian boat which should be restored to its original glory.

An original-owner 18' Shepherd Runabout! She has been kept in the same boathouse since new and has been impeccably maintained. This Shepherd is in very fair condition and receives regular use. In the water during the 2013 season. Varnish, upholstery, and chrome in good condition. Engine runs well and has had an ignition upgrade for easy starting.
24 Feet 1957 Shepherd Runabout
This big and beautiful Shepherd was completely, professionally restored in 1985. The restoration included new interior framework, a complete new bottom, all wood stripped, stained, and varnished, 12V conversion, new leather upholstery, and new engines (twin V6 Crusaders). She was revarnished in 1993 and has been in dry storage since 1995! This boat is worthy of a look and will survey out perfectly as being "show ready".
