Very rare Shell Lake Cormorant outboard. Built by Shell Lake Boat Co. in Shell Lake, Wisconsin in 1950. Strip planked cedar bottom, mahogany topsides over steam bent oak frames. Mahogany decks. Extensive restoration completed in 2012. Hull and deck completely refastened with silicon bronze screws in West Gflex epoxy-filled and redrilled holes; new external keel; a few new floor frames and frame sections replaced. Completely wooded and refinished. 10 plus coats of Epiphanes on topsides, decks, seats, and coamings. Varnish refreshed every 2 years, most recently in 2019. 1982 Evinrude 15 runs well and starts easily. Lower unit and carburetor rebuilt in 2012. Includes full mooring cover, original seat and seat back cushions and new convertible bimini top.
