This boat is turn-key ready! Last in water October 2016. Featuring new upholstery, this craft enjoys only 52 hours on the rebuilt V-8, 175 hp motor. Latest improvements include: new exhaust system from manifold to transom, new aluminum USCGA fuel tank, new propeller shaft and propeller, new water pump impeller, replaced fuel line from tank to engine and two new NAPA batteries. The 23 Foot Lyman Utility is a perect size for many Utility buyers as it will fit in any boathouse and is nicely proportioned and roomy. This boat has spent it's life in the fresh water of the St. Lawrence River and is in good solid condition. A trailer is not available with the boat but transport may be arranged at a reaosnbale price. The engine was replaced about 20 years ago and by the owner's own admission the boat is only used about 2 weeks per year. This is a great boat and suitable for fishing or entertaining and can handle any type of water.

This is an easy boat to handle and a breeze to dock. It was great to use to teach beginners safe boating and skills. We had fun zipping around the Thousand Islands on the St. Lawrence River. Her Johnson 35 delivers good, reliable power.

We bought this boat from a local who had it stored in a boat house on his St. Lawrence River island. We had it restored by an area expert and kept it inside our boathouse for twenty years. It was used to explore the Thousand Islands around Wellesley Island. Very good condition little Lyman with a smooth-purring Mercury EFI. Has a 12-gallon permanently installed gas tank.
21 Feet 1961 Lyman Utility
This 21-footer has a factory re-manufactured 302 Ford V-8. The engine was installed in 2012 for $5,000, has less than 250 hours since and runs like a champion. The gas tank was removed, cleaned and re-coated in 2012. Stored, winterized and maintained at Cornell’s Marina in Henderson, NY, for at least the last 10 years. Needs cosmetic work (paint on bottom and sides), but otherwise it’s in great shape. Strong enough to handle the open lake, small enough to fit into almost any boat slip.

This is a beautiful example of a Lyman Sleeper. The 26' model offered ample room for passengers and the cuddy area is comfortable for sleeping. This boat has been stored at Cornell's marina in Henderson Harbor the past 15 years. Cornell's has cared for this boat for it's time there. New bottom planks in 2017 including transom work. 26 Feet 1969 Lyman Cruisette Soft Top
The Lyman has been completely restored. The decks are teakwood, as well as the windshields. There is a 3/4 swim platform off the transom, with an additional teakwood ladder. The interior is a beautiful mahogany, with 6 coats of varnish. Also included are mahogany boarding steps. The pristine white cushions are two years old, with an additional set included for fishing purposes. A Lowrance LMS525CDF sonar/gps plus wass combo with a color screen is included and installed.

The boat is a 1963 inboard in good overall condition. Ready to be put in the water and enjoyed. The engine block was rebuilt with a Chrysler engine within the last 10 years. The original two carburetors were removed and replaced with a new single much more efficient one also within the last 10 years. Minimal use of the boat since that time. Engine starts and runs great. The hull is in good shape, leaks a little but very manageable. Canvas and cushions in great shape. Has two batteries with dual switch, two water pumps, fish finder, stereo. Stored inside every winter. I have owned the boat for over twenty years with many memorable moments on the St.Lawrence River. Ready to move on to a another boat.

Totally restored, 3-owner 1968 Lyman Runabout with Nielsen Canvas top and overhauled 190 HP Interceptor Motor. Virtually every part of both the boat and trailer have been fully restored by an experienced Lyman restorer. The list of what has been completed on the this boat/trailer is too long to list here (please inquire and would be happy to provide a detailed list). This Lyman was originally delivered to Indian Lake, Ohio. This meticulously maintained Lyman is turn-key and ready to be used immediately. This is a great 1966 Lyman Utility. It has been fully restored and has a Peugot Twin Carb 4 Cylinder I/O engine. It also has a full new canvas and all the work was done by a professional. It is over a single axel Shorelander trailker which will pull the boat nicely.
22 Feet 1994 Lyman Open Fisherman Utility
Built using the lines of the traditional 1967 Lyman Utility, these reproductions were built in 22 and 24 foot sizes and featured fiberglass hulls that are full trimmed with teak accents. Same comfortable ride of a true inboard Lyman with a fraction of the maintenance. This example has been a 2-owner boat since new and has always been used in fresh water. In the last few years, the hull has been fully detailed, all teak refinished, new fuel tanks, new synthetic teak and holly flooring. Crusader 305cid V8 engine. Full canvas included side and back curtains.
18 Feet 1958 Lyman Islander
This remarkable Lyman Islander sat in storage from the early 1960's until 2000 and is in very original condition. In the 2000's the tops, sides and bottom were stripped and refinished, the engine was torn down and rebuilt, and all wiring was replaced. In 2018, a new, larger canvas top was added and the sides and bottom were repainted. She sits on a 2004 trailer custom-made for the boat. Used nearly every day on a Florida freshwater river for sunset and cocktail cruising. A perfect boat!

18 Feet 1949 Lyman Islander
I have owned this boat for 12 years. I restored it 4 years ago. I replaced all of the ribs and what planking needed to be. I had the engine gone over and runs great. The boat has always been in the Henderson Harbor NY area and has only been on fresh water . I had the chrome replated, everything has been repainted with Lyman paint. Everything that is varnished has 7 coats of Epifanes varnish. The boat has 2 new tops one I had made to original but had another made with more head room, both have side curtains. It has an Ez Loader trailer that I modified to fit the boat. It has new tires. The boat comes with 2 complete engines with transmissions. All of the engines are Grey Marine 620’s which is a 4 cylinder 60 hp engine. It has been changed over to 12 volt system. The only thing not working is the tachometer. The boat is water ready.

Here's a decent-condition Lyman Islander that will make a great project boat for your garage or workshop this winter. At least one plank needs to be replaced, the decks have some lamination and varnish problems, and the engine needs attention, but she's otherwise intact with good wood and all her hardware.

This boat has been on the St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands since she was delivered from the Sandusky, OH boat works in 1957. Always stored inside in the winter, she is 90% original and in great structural condition. In the past 10 years she's received a new Crusader engine, beautiful new transom, complete new windshield framing and glass, gas tank, engine box and three (3) bottom planks, plus deck work and a complete rewiring of the electrical system. Two-owner boat was originally in the Finger Lakes (New York) and most recently in the Thousand Islands on the St. Lawrence River. Restored in 2006 with several planks replaced and fresh coats of paint and varnish, she was run sparingly after the restoration and has been in storage since 2010.

This beautiful Lyman has gone through a comprehensive restoration which included new ribs, transom, decks, teak king plank & windshield, cockpit sole/flooring, mahogany seats/bulkheads/cabinet doors. The original Gray Marine V8 engine was rebuilt and the entire boat was rewired. New fuse panel, switches, battery selector, and restored gauge panel. Prop shaft, cutlass bearing, and prop replaced. Complete with a new custom Loadmaster trailer and a Jabsco toilet + hoses not yet installed. These boats are perfect for entertaining and this example is exceptional!

This stunning, classic hardtop Lyman has been meticulously maintained yearly by its owner who spared no expense. It has been completely restored from stem to stern. It is powered by twin Crusader 350 c.i. engines both of which have been completely rebuilt. These large Lyman's are very sought after and great for entertaining offering plenty of room for people to move about. This 30-foot model offers a dinette table and an entertaining area with a sink, fridge and countertop for preparing and storing snacks and drinks. It is equipped with an electronics package and everything on the boat is in good working order. Built in 1989, this reproduction Lyman Sportsman features a low maintenance fiberglass hull and all of the appeal of a wooden boat. She sports teak decks, teak flooring, mahogany ceiling panels and all mahogany trim. She has been beautifully refinished and outfitted with all new interior woodwork. Hull sides have been refinished in dark blue Imron paint which really sets this boat apart from the others. She was enjoyed on the fresh water lakes of Ohio prior to her move to Florida recently. Boat was rigged and used for walleye fishing on Lake Erie most of it's life. One of the last boats built in the Ohio factory. Since I owned it I have done the following: depth sounder/Loran have been removed; No Oil Discharge placard is in place; Trash Disposal placard is in place; bilge pump replaced; kicker bracket removed; cabin cushions renewed; packing glad tightened; batteries replaced; flame arrester cleaned; cockpit floor repaired; exhaust hose replaced; inlet hose replaced; new valve installed; cockpit counter top replaced with granite; fuel filters replaced, transmission cable replaced,; and teak revarnished.

This lovingly maintained and restored 1966 Lyman 21 Runabout is a great choice for someone who appreciates the beauty, simplicity and craftsmanship of yesteryear. This vessel is in above average condition and has about 77 hours on the engine. Work recently completed on 2 cracked frames and some damage to the aft end of her keel. Other components excellent condition with engine, fuel system, electronics, wiring and varnish all updated in 2007.

This beautiful Lyman has been enjoyed in the fresh water of the St Lawrence River for many years. She went through a major restoration in 2005 which included much bottom and stem work. Well maintained each year. Starboard engine was replaced with a long block in 2012. Interior brightwork was refreshed last season. All new canvas and isinglass - very impressive to see on a boat of this size!

Restored professionally three years ago in Ohio by a Lyman fan. No rot. Plywood on top of gunnel was replaced last month by professional boat carpenter with Mahogany. It appears that the transom was replaced a few years ago. Minimal maintenance needed. Recently varnished. Previous owner was the service manager of Marine Max in Sandusky Ohio. Motor is a 1956 30hp Evinrude, manual start. In excellent shape but needs the hood to be repainted.
28 Feet 1966 Lyman Sportsman
I have had this 28 Foot Lyman Sportsman since 2004 when I purchased the boat in Clayton, New York. It was first delivered new to Mercers Marine in Clayton in 1968. Engines are in great shape with velvet drive transmissions, good compression and good oil pressure. The boat then went through a full restoration and was lightly used from 2010 until now. The boat sits in the Antique Boat America Showroom after being run all summer. The boat has always been carefully cared for and run in the fresh water of the Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence. River. Ready for sea trial at any time.

This Lyman Islander has been in our family since purchased new by my father-in-law. The engine was rebuilt in 2000 and the hull was repaired at the same time. The boat is in sound condition throughout and is presently in use on Lake Champlain. The engine starts easily on original 6 V battery system. A bilge pump has been added on separate 12V battery power. Finishes are in good condition but will need fresh coats. Bright work on foredeck and gunwhales will need to be redone before next season.

This forward steer Lyman utility is in very nice shape and is a sharp looking boat! The current owner has had the boat for 14 years and it originally came from New Hampshire. She spent some time in Florida and is now back north. The boat was flipped, stripped to bare wood, gunnels/covering boards replaced, aft deck replaced, then completely refinished. Windshield lowered for aesthetics, engine rebuilt, and pinstiping added to the decks, then buried in clear. Great looking Lyman that runs as good as it looks!

Absolutely pristine fiberglass beauty! This girl was completely restored to the tune of $100K! Must be seen to be appreciated. Magnificent black hull sides and brilliant white decks with a custom built, vented mahogany windshield. The engine also has a fresh water cooling system, although the boat has never seen salt water! This Lyman performs extremely well with all mechanicals responding accurately and smoothly. Also includes a custom $2500 mooring cover.

One of the nicest Cruisettes we have ever seen. Boat has been completely restored and has added hydraulic steering system. Almost all interior woodwork and ribs have been replaced. Boat comes with upgraded tufted cushions which were done by a concours car specialist. Over 12 different types of wood were used in the boat's restoration and she is gorgeous in every way.
