“Perfect Evening” is a two-owner boat whose first life was centered on a southern Vermont mountain lake. Since 2010, she has been kept on Lake George in the Adirondacks, always docked under a canopy, and stored in winter in a garage. Over the past several years, the boat has received attention through a local restoration shop. In mid-2018, the bottom was sanded 3 times and painted with 3 coats of copper bronze paint. The transom was stripped, sanded, bleached, stained, wood sealer was applied, followed by 10 coats of varnish. In December 2018 and January of 2019 the starboard side covering board was replaced along with sanding and re-varnishing of the decks and painting of the sides. In May of 2019, the engine had a complete tune up, including the rebuilding of both carburetors. A compression test was done on all cylinders: 1 - 110 psi, 2 - 140 psi, 3, 4 and 5 were at 130 psi and 6 was 120 psi. "Perfect Evening" is in generally very good condition and ready for her next owner.
