14 Feet 2003 Shew & Burnham
The Whitehall Rowing Skiff combines the look and performance of a classic design. She’s fast, stable, and can carry up to three adults. Stunning craftsmanship! Prior to outboards, Whitehalls were the boat of choice for working harbors. Whisper is gorgeous and in excellent condition. Her riveted lapstrake construction is accented with cedar planks and well-maintained mahogany brightwork, seats, transom, and trim. Whisper is sold with her cradle, oars, and four oarlocks. She rows like a dream! Shew & Burnham Inc. (1968-2018) of South Bristol ME is known for their artisanship used in constructing more than 200 small traditional wooden boats. Whisper is located in Mid-Coast Maine.
16' Feet 1939 Peterborough Gull Lapstrake Skiff
This is a very rare classic. Peterborough built very few boats using this construction technique. The craftsmanship is exquisite. -White cedar planking -oak half round ribs -transom (12" by 25") & skeg -15 inch centre depth -22 inch bow depth -Original basswood floor boards. I bought this boat about 10 years ago. The previous owner was in the midst of restoring it, when a fire swept through his shop. The hull was safe, but some of the parts were destroyed. There was no hardware with the boat. I put a lot of time, effort, and expense into making the missing parts (white oak), procuring hardware, and putting the boat back together. While I have thoroughly enjoyed rowing it in Swell Bay of Rainy Lake, it is now time to let it go for a new owner to appreciate. In the past year, the keel and skeg were removed and re-bedded. The exterior has been freshened with 6 coats of Epifanes clear gloss varnish. A new and proper (concave back) half oval brass stemband and bow eye have been installed. The rear seat backrest was made from Peterborough Speedster backrests. There are a few bangs, bruises, dark spots, and the seats have a few scratches from my dogs. While not pristine, this is still a valuable boat. Price includes one pair of original Peterborough spoon blade oars with new leathers and oarlocks.

17 ft Feet 1870 Custom built
Glory A Fancy Boston Whitehall GLORY is a replica of The Bailey Boat that is on display in the Mystic Seaport Museum. The design dates back to the 1870's. This boat was referred to as a Fancy Whitehall as her scantlings are reduced to an absolute minimum and her hull lines are drawn extra lean and fine. Whitehalls were known for their breathtaking speed as well as being very seaworthy. This one has three rowing positions for 3 oarsmen or can be rowed using the single sliding seat rig mounted in the middle of the boat. A few years back she was used in the movie "Cannibals" which aired on the History Channel. In that movie, they jury rigged a makeshift sail and had 4 actors in the boat. Some of the photos are taken in calm waters in Oyster Bay L.I. The ones with the jury rig sail are taken off Lloyds Neck on the Long Island Sound with a nice breeze. The boat is built with West system epoxy, 2 layers of fiberglass cloth on the outside 1 layer of 6 oz. cloth on the inside. She has some very special details outlined in a separate list. The hull is all solid red cedar with fluted ash rails and spruce cove strip. Transom & bow seats are spruce to save weight in the ends, the center seats are ash frames with cane centers to save more weight. ( See list for other details ) I worked on this boat for a little over one year as I wanted every detail to be perfect. This is the st boat I've built and it's not easy to part with her. If you're looking for something very speciat, that turns heads, can hold 4 people or just go real fast in any weather this is the boat
16 Feet 1880 William A. Martin Adirondack Guideboat
This museum-quality Antique Guideboat was built in the 1880’s by William Martin, Saranac Lake, Franklin County, New York; a well known builder of these fine small watercraft. It is an excellent survivor in original condition. William Martin's boats were commonly referred to as ‘Eggshells’, due to his fine craftsmanship resulting in a 16’ boat weighing in at approximately 60 lbs which allowed a single Adirondack Guide to carry the boat over the many ‘carries’ connecting lakes and streams throughout the Adirondacks. It has been in the same family since the mid – 1960s always kept in an enclosed ‘dry’ Adirondack boathouse when not in use. It is reluctantly offered for sale and includes a set of 8’ oars and all the expected seating as well as a carrying yoke.

This boat was a barn-find several years ago in Douglasville PA. The original builder was tracked down to TomsRiver, NJ. Restored by her current owner. She has the original oars, all brass hardware and is sold complete with a single axle trailer.
14 Feet 1970's Kawartha Metis Canoe
This beautiful canoe was made by the Kawartha Métis & N.S. Indian Association (Burleigh Falls, Ontario, Canada) in the 1970's. Many aspects are very similar to boats built by Peterborough including the ribs, decking, and coamings. It is a fine example of Canadian craftsmanship and is in outstanding original condition. Enjoy a luxurious ride on your favorite lake or use this as a magnificent show piece for your home, B&B or business. This canoe has always been stored indoors, in temperature control and away from direct sunlight. Meticulously cared for over the years and maintained. It was last in the water in 2019 and is watertight and sea worthy. We're selling this beauty because although we love this boat we don't use it with our young kids and we're renovating and need the space. We hope it finds a new home that enjoys it as much as we have. 2 vintage wooden paddles are also included. Although not restored (one has a crack in the blade) they look good and are perfect for a simple DIY restoration project).
16 Feet 1940 Peterborough
Cedar double ended rowing skiff with spoon oars with leathers. Boat came from Muskoka area. Had been owned by the Hand family then another party in Ontario. I got it about 20 years ago and subsequently had some strips, 1/2 keel and a stem replaced by the instructors at Urban Boatbuilders in St Paul. the outer hull was stripped and I varnished with Deks Olje. Our use at the cottage was great but our use is inconvenient by the repeated in and out with soaking when we would return after a few weeks away. Deck batten boards need repair or replacement. All original hardware including the rare foot brace. Interior and gunwales could/should be refinished. Has been in dry storage for 5 years. No trailer, can car top or fit inside a van. Wonderful rowing. Can assist with delivery.
26 feet 1986 Crown Point Sailing Dory
This 26ft Crown Point Sailing Dory was built by expert craftsman Emerson Willard of Wilmington, North Carolina. The Crown Point design is a modern take on the Classic Dory. Built from plywood and covered in fiberglass, Emerson handcrafted these boats by himself with his small sawmill and workshop. The stern has cavity for an outboard motor. Currently powered with a Mercury 210 c.c. outboard. She is in need of some cosmetic restoration at this time but believed to be all complete.

18.5 Feet 1941 Murray Wright Rampage
Murray Wright Rampage day sailor, 41, solid clinch-nailed mahogany and cedar boat. Elongated version of the popular K-Boat. Wright built only 6 of these boats, for friends and family, two were lost in a barn fire, and the three others are held by the Finger Lakes Boating Museum. Restored completely, ready to sail. Boat is 18.5 feet with a main mast of 28-29 feet. All original, all components stamped 41. A very rare boat. New custom made sail by Jon Greiner, also 41, restored trailer, 6 hp long shank Evenrude motor, recently serviced. All bronze hardware (that was TOUGH to find)! Many other items of sailing equipment included--a complete captain's bag. Ready to launch. Must see in person! Considering best offers. I bought this boat when I was going through some tough times. Working on the boat with my pop was one of my few pleasures. We remade the interior out of cherry, stripped it all down, recaulked it, refinished it, and I think we did a really good job on it. Epifanes on the deck & hull, Tonkinois on the interior. Rubberized calk. Unfortunately, now that it's more or less complete, I no longer have the time to sail it!

21ft Feet 1952 AR Rocket Sloop
Classic 21ft carvel plank wooden sloop sailboat. This was built in 1952 by AR in Amesbury, MA. The true rocket’s are hard to come by. This boat comes with bran new unused paint for the hull, a brand new deep cycle battery, newer sail and jib (serviced). Custom interior cushions. Sleeps two to three. Small toilet space. Solar recharge system for battery as well.
17 Feet 1914 B. N. Morris Heavy Water Canoe
This canoe is very similar to a 1910s-1920s Old Town but was built by the B. N. Morris Canoe Company in Veazie, Maine in 1914. Morris produced wood and canvas canoes from 1891 until fire destroyed the factory late in 1919. The 17-foot Heavy Water canoe was apparently shipped to Maryland in 1915. It later found its way to the hands of a Warren Proctor, who owned a camp in northern Pittsburg, New Hampshire where it spent most of its life being paddled on the first Connecticut River lake. Upon his death, she was acquired by the current owner. It has been stored inside since. The factory green was repainted with a blue tone which is now cracked and in need of a refresh. The hull is in great shape, no cracked rips or internal damage. The keel is in good shape. The brass bow-strip has fallen off but is still with the boat. Original seats are intact. The hull serial number is 11755.
18 Feet 1941 Old Town Sailing Canoe
Old Town Wood-Canvas Sailing Canoe Old Town canoe 130365 is an 18 foot, Common Sense grade Otca model canoe with Half-Ribs and Open Spruce gunwales. This canoe is fitted for sailing as well as paddling and is ready to create pleasant memories for a new owner. This 1941 Old Town Otca model was meticulously restored in 2017. Most of the sail rigging is original to canoe. Mast has been rebuilt and original sail replaced with a period-correct 55 sq.ft. four-panel lateen sail with battens, in pale cream, with the look a feel of cotton. The canoe also sports a new custom-built floor rack, a brass flagpole socket, a painter ring and a period-correct Old Town decal. Additionally, the canoe comes with an original Old Town canoe chair, pennant, mast-top ribbon, photos of the recent restoration, and a copy of the original Old Town build record. This canoe was featured on the cover of the journal "Wooden Canoe", vol. 40, number 3, which contains her full story.

This is a Mead Batwing Sail Glider/Kayak. The Mead Company produced Glider Boats, Planes and bikes, since the 1920s. This glider is from the 1940s. 16 Feet circa 1958 The Wright-Built Boat Company
Murray Wright of Dundee, NY designed and built over 400 of these sail boats between 1940 and 1970. There were three models: K-Jr, K-Boat, and K-Sr. This is the K-Boat model number 263. She is constructed of western red cedar over white oak ribs, trimmed in mahogany with bronze fittings. The 27' sitka spruce mast carries 145 square feet of sail. These boats were designed for racing on Keuka Lake between Hammondsport and Penn Yan, NY. This boat has been completely restored and is fun to sail. Beware, her looks can attract a crowd sometimes.

22 Feet 1960 Custom Day Sailer
This beautiful sailboat (Shadow) was custom built in the Finger Lakes region on a Novia Scotia inspired vessel design. Shadow was originally owned by an estate and has been maintained stored and kept to the highest quality. Now on to her second owner, the quality and care still shows! The boat is currently located and can be viewed at the Pleasant Beach Inn, in Fairhaven, NY.
16 Feet 2004 Rangeley Skiff
This Rangeley Skiff was built by me in 2004 from plans in John Gardner's book Building Classic Small Craft. The hull is Northern White Cedar attached with clinch nails and rivets. The ribs are steam bent oak and the trim is oak. The joints are caulked with 3M 5200 so the boat is watertight. The Skiff comes complete with two Shaw & Tenney Oars, Oar locks, trailer and cover
16 Feet 1898 Circa St. Lawrence Skiff
This is a very old and earely version of a St. Lawrence Skiff believed to have been built around the turn of the Century. The current owner's Father bought the boat in the 1950's and it went into storge for over 40 years in Upstate New York. The paint was stripped off and some of the oak wood was replaced. There are a pair of oars which are included but are not original to the boat.
15 Feet 1900 St. Lawrence Skiff
This St. Lawrence Skiff is of a unknown builder but bears all of the markings consistent with boats built on or near the St. Lawrence River. The boat is 15 Feet 10 inches long and 4 feet wide. At one time the skiff may have had a sail. It has been restored on the inside and fiberglassed on the outside. These boats are a reminder of how boat building looked over 100 years ago and how they were used as a form of communication, travel and socialization in and around the St. Lawrence River.

Galvanized steel planked clinker construction with patented crimping process. Found in a NH barn about 1998. Never used by me. Was probably a rental boat from the Boston area. I have a pic of one being rented on a Mn lake pre WW1. Michigan Maritime Museum has one.MSB made mostly motorized boats in Detroit using the same planking process. Pics on line if MSB is searched.
17 Feet 1956 Wittholz Design Sailboat
This is a 1956 Wittholz Design Sailboat. I have owned the boat for many years and have restored it twice during my tenure. It has a new main sail and an older job that are both in good condition. The inboard 8HP engine runs and starts well. The fittings are bronze and wood. The hull is an oak frame and sitka spruce. The centerboard is about 300 Lbs of Iron and is completed with an oversized rudder. The boat sits comfortably on a single axel trailer which holds the boat well and it tows nicely.

This is modern version of a Classic Sailing Skiff. Made by B&B Yacht Designs and called the "Amada" this boat was one that many first cut their teeth on as they entered the world of sailing. This boat is ready to be sailed again or to be used a display piece. It is in very good overall condition.
16 Feet 2001 Delaware Ducker
Built at Apprentice Shop in Maine/2001. Near bristol condition! Boats cost was 12,000 in 2001. 16ft 125lb The A-shop made 2sets of leather collared oars, 2 push poles, grub box, sprit-rig, gaff-rig, leather bailer, and a full canvas cover..the works. The sails have topping lift lines which are very handy when necessary to reduce sail area in too strong of winds. The bronze oarlocks were cast from the Mystic Seaport molds. The planks below the waterline were bedded in Sikaflex to resist displacement from trailer vibration, of which over the last 15 years there has been virtually none. It lives on a like-new aluminum Trailex trailer Painted with Kirby paint from Maine 16' foot pole for rail birds, the 10' pole for ducking (used for pushing boat in marshes when hunting) The bronze edges on the stems and bottom protect it when bumping and scraping on things. Construction is cedar planking on white oak with steam bent ribs and copper rivets.

1929 with paperwork. Excellent condition save for some fraying of the canvas at the bow and stern which requires attention. Was stored under an enclosed porch for many years. Just discovered when cleaning out uncle's home (who was 93). Canvas only thing not original on this canoe. According to paperwork, hull was originally painted red. Water tight.

17 Feet 1930 Dowsett Rowing Skiff
This is a beautiful rowing skiff built by W.J. Dowsett of Portland, ON. Dowsett built a variety of rowing skiffs, inboard motor skiffs, launches, and runabouts; many of which remain in the area today! This example has been lovingly restored with all new ribs and planking where necessary. Complete with an original set of Dowsett oars, which are very distinctive in their construction. These skiffs are a pleasure to row and the perfect addition to your cottage!
12' Sailing Skiff Feet c. 1935 Peterborough (Canada)
This is a fully restored Peterborough sailing skiff, made probably in the 1930s. You can find it in the reprint of the Peterborough catalog by Roger MacGregor in 1995, on page 35 with the specification chart on page 51. New sail. Complete boat. Restoration was complete in 1991 , sailed a few times for two or three seasons after and stored indoors ever since.
16 Feet 1911 Theodore Hanmer Flat Back Adirondack Guide Boat
A very early Theodore Hanmer Adirondack Guide Boat. This is a flat back guide and one of only 3 built at that time. She was owned by a Family that lived on Skunk Misery Road in Oyster Bay and was last sold in 1965. She is made out of pine and is feather light. She has a yoke to portage and 2 sets of oar loacks for rowing from either end. The boat is in perfect condition except for a tiny chip in the floor. Not bad for a boat that is 105 years old. The cane seats and oars are in perfect condition. It has spent the last few years as a handing display in a private home in the 1000 Islands.

16 Feet 1915 F.H. Darrow Portable Rowboat
Steel manufacturing was quite an industry in the early 1900's, and manufacturers such as Mullins and F.H. Darrow took advantage of the growing market for watercraft and began to build marketable boats. F.H. Darrow Steel Boat Manufacturing Co. built this portable rowboat around 1915 when trailers were uncommon and the automobile was quickly gaining in popularity. They developed an ingenious design where a 16' rowboat could be broken down into 3 independent segments, nested one inside the other, and mounted on the running board of a car! Not only is the boat easily portable; each section can float independently. This design is very unique and represents an era when the concept of travel by road took off! She has been nicely restored and is complete with oars. Full documentation available.

14 Feet 1890's American Built Birch Bark Canoe
This is a traditional Indian made American birch bark canoe belived to be made in the 1890's. The canoe was built in the St. Lawrence County of New York near Watertown, New York. The owner bought the canoe at an Auction about six years ago. It is in good solid shape and appears to have had an old repair done on the bow. These boats are extremely hard to find in original condition and especially ones which have ben made using the traditional methods. Weighs only about 55 Lbs

16 Feet 1920 Sebago Rowing Skiff
Pre-1920 restored Sebago skiff. This double-ended, all-wood 16' Sebago skiff was built in East Sebago, Maine, between 1890 and 1920. In 2011, Kevin Martin in Epping, N.H., restored it. Modern caulking was used to seal the planks and one stem was replaced. When last used two years ago, it was watertight and has been stored in a barn since. The skiff comes with a restored Holsclaw trailer with soft riding coil springs. The skiff has two pairs of 7-foot oars and oarlocks. It was made of elm or alder with the body having steamed cedar planking along with brass screws. The gunwale may be chestnut. The exterior is green Epifanes marine paint and the interior a Kirby light green tint. The Sebago is distinctive for the bead running along the first plank on the exterior, with the plank finished natural and everything below the bead painted. Will deliver within New England if driving costs are paid by buyer.
19 Feet 1958-59 Lightning Class Sailboat
Nice Classic Lightning, sharp inside and out. Ceder sides and decks, mahogany transom and bottom recently restored, but not to show varnish, looks good enough that people think its wet.
14 Feet 1890's Traditional Indian Birch Bark Canoe
Traditional Indian Made Birch Bark canoe which is estimate to have been built on the late 1890's. It has been in a private collection for many years and amongst an extensive Adirondack collection. The boat is correct, true and original weighing 55 Lbs, 14 feet in length and 40 inches in the beam. It would make a fantastic addition to any collection.

Canvas appears to have been replaced with very light weight glass and epoxy, doubt that any weight was added over original canvas. Foam sponsons removed but will go with the canoe, two paddles also.

14 Feet Flat Back Skiff
A 14 foot Flat Back Skiff owned by Ralph Earl brother to George Earl who was the Governor of Pennsylvania at one time. This boat came off of Camp Bullpout on Upper St. Regis Lake. It was later sold to Raplh Burger President and Chairman of A&P. Very nice flat back skiff ready for a small outboard. 14' flat back skiff originally owned by Ralph Earle, brother to George Howard Earle, Governor of Pennsylvania. The boat was stored at Mr. Earle's Great Camp, "Camp Bullpout" on Upper St. Regis Lake in the Adirondacks. Mr. Earle used the boat regularly with a small outboard motor for his boating pleasure. The boat was then acquired by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Burger. Mr. Burger was President and Chairman of the Board of the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company (A&P) and would later become President/CEO of the John A. Hartford Foundation.

16 Feet Rushton Adirondack Guideboat
This rare Rushton Adirondack Guideboat has been in one family for many years. The Rushton has been used sparingly in the Southern Adirondacks and on rare trips to a lake in Canada. It has its original seat rails and yoke rail. There is also one original seat frame which would need to be re-caned. The middle and other rear seat are not original but also require caning. Hull has been fiberglassed. The label is a copper shield signifying its history as a Rushton.

This boat has been hand stripped and varnished with epiphanes varnish. It has a set of Ted Shea sculls as they are 10' long. The fore and aft decks were originally covered with canvas. The oar locks are made by Kern. This boat can be used or proudly displayed. It is truly a fine piece of maritime history.

16 Feet 1915 Adirondack 'Church Boat'
This boat is early 1900's and is known as an "Adirondack Church Boat" apparently for the ability to place an outboard engine on the transom instead of rowing to church. Same hull design as guide boat, except for square transom. Deck, front and rear have been replaced and could be better done (not done as original). This is a very unique boat of both design and ability. A perfect small Adirondack lake boat in very good condition. More photos available on request.
16 Feet 1948 E.M.White Canoe
This E.M White is an exceptional canoe which was found at the Chicagoland Canoe Base. The exterior finish is flawless as is the color. The canoe is solid and rot-free and totally original. This is a great find, exceptional and desired. The canoe has been fully and faithfully restored and is a fine specimen. Every rib and every plank are original. The ribs are I belive ash and the planking is clear cedar with the breast plate being oak. The canvas is essentially brand new and prepared by professionals. The canoe bears the hull ID# 781. After many years of ownership and very little recent use the owner has elected to part with the boat. These are hard to find in this type of condition and represent a great part of history when canoes were so very popular as a means of transportation.
17 Feet 1938 Old Town "OTCA" Canoe
This 17 foot OTCA Old Town Canoe was given to me by my sons for my 50th birthday. It was lovingly cared for and used on Lake Wentworth , New Hampshire for 18 years and has been in my garage for the last 10 years not being used. We have the build sheet history and great memories of the canoe but are simply not using it any longer.

17'6 Feet 1903 Rowing Skiff
This boat was purchased in 1903 by a Mr. Loggie who has long since passed away. I bought thye boat in the 1970's and had it retsorede by a well known boat builder by the name of Philias Jimmo in the early 1970's and it is still in excellent condition today. While the boat appears to be of unknown origin it has been reviewed by people such as R. J . Cunningham the author of ship building in Atlantic Canada and the Chatham Museum.
16 Feet 1913 Lakefield Canoe Co. Torpedo
One of the real classic Canoes in the history of Ontario. This 16 ft Cedar strip Lakefield canoe was made in Lakefield, Ontario in the early 1900's. Trim lines and a low profile make foe a very fast canoe. Covered, 1990, with a very light and transparent fiberglass coat means no "soaking up" is required to make it watertight with no loss of visual appeal. Note the unusual architecture of the front and rear decks. Thought to be the "Torpedo" model . Excellent condition as an heirloom and as a fully functional and usable canoe.

Built by Stumtown builders as a faithful reproduction to a St. Lawrence River Skiff this is an Open water rowing/sailing double ender. Tough nylon skin over steamed white oak ribs, trimmed in mahogany. Drop-in sliding seat rowing unit and hatchet oars. 54 sq. ft. balanced lug sail, centerboard, rudder, ready to go. On a nice trailer but also car top-able.
14 Feet 2010 Beaver Bark Canoes
This traditional hand made birch bark canoe was built by the seller in the summer of 2010. Nails and split spruce roots are the fasteners, hand-split northern white was carved with the crooked knife to produce the stempieces, ribs, and planking. Detailed winter-bark etchings scraped into the birch bark, decorate the bark panels below the gunwale.The seams and ends of the canoe still need to be sealed with the traditional pine pitch which will render the canoe water-tight.
16 Feet 1920's Canadian Canoe
This is a unknown canoe builder but attributed to Walter Dean. It has the same lines/dimensions as Sunnyside Cruiser, 6 board basswood hull, rib/batten construction, flame mahogany decks, contemporary seats and thwart , restored and canvased by previous owner 25 years ago. Canvas is mint, decks ,ribs, battens, outwales, hull planking all original. Coaming replaced and in need of minor repair. Always stored inside, also has been attributed to "W. Madill Boat and Canoe Builders" in Orillia, Ontario.

This Old Town is in excellent shape and has been garage stored for decades...with very little use. Build sheet says it was delivered to Warrenton Building Supply in Warrenton, Virginia on May 12, 1960 for sale. Original color, original seats, all in great shape. Hull #169993
Feet 1870 Dan Herald Canoe, Ontario Canada
Only 8 canoe's of this type in existence. Dan Harold built canoes from about 1869-1889. The reason his boats were so unique is that the outside bottom of the boat only consists of 6 cedar boards. On the inside he laid a lead soaked cloth on the wood and put down cedar strips side by side (similar to hardwood floors). There is another boat like this one is the Canada science and technology museum, this is a very rare canoe.

17 Feet 1920's St Lawrence Skiff
This is a very nice rowing skiff, the builder is unknown. Many of the construction attributes are similar to those of Dowsett boats, built in Portland, Ontario. Also reminiscent of many St Lawrence skiffs of the era. She has been restored and is ready to row. The boat has a few new planks, a new stern post, and fresh varnish. She is a breeze to row and would also make an excellent display piece at the cottage!
12 Feet 1930 Old Town Square Stern Canoe
This is a lovely Old Town square stern canvas canoe. it has been completely restored and rebuilt from its original construction in the 1930's. The canoe is all new with the exception of the ribs. It is painted red and looks almost too nice to put in the water. It was originally a 16 foot canoe which had to be altered because the last 4 feet were beyond repair.
18 Feet 1920's Jackson Boat Works St Lawrence Skiff
This is the only Jackson skiff that we have ever had to sell. Jackson was an Ogdensburg, NY builder that built several skiffs of this length. It is unusual in it's decorative style, opposing color woods in the gunwale and decks and delightful ceiling boards the full length of the boat. Twin decorative oar locks with two sets of matched Shaw & Tenney oars. All hardware is brass and complete. Brass name plate indicates; Jackson Boat Works, builder, Ogdensburg, N.Y. This is a well built excellent two person skiff in great shape that was recently restored by the owner who is no longer boating due to age.
16 Feet 1915 B.N. Morris Model A, Type 1 Canoe
17 B.N. Morris Model A Type 1 circa 1915 SN 14175. Replaced 5 ribs and about 20ft of planking, 5 coats of gloss varnish on the inside, new canvas, filler, paint and fresh caned seats has floor boards. White cedar ribs and planking, White spruce closed rails, mahogany decks, thwarts and seat frames, brass flag holder in each deck. Morris was arguably the finest builder of wood and canvas canoes in the United States. He used only the highest quality materials and coupled them with superb craftsmanship. He produced canoes from about 1887 to 1920 when fire consumed his shop. This is a nice example of his work.
18'6 Feet 1978 Victoria Yachts Sailboat (McVey Design)
This is an ideal river sailboat because of its 560Lb shoal draft keel which only draws 2 Ft of water and is easily docked. It is a sturdy and safe boat which will takes a fair amount of weather. Sails are old and in useable condition. The air cooled motor is old but starts and runs well.
22 Feet 1954 Star Sailboat
This Star sailboat was built in 1954 and is #3396. This is the largest class of sailboat in the world with over 10,000 people now sailing. She is a very fast sloop with a permanent weighted keel. This boat has a bending mast to allow a "pocket" in the sail to give it extra speed. The mast is aluminum, but the boom is mahogany. This boat was built by Old Greenwich Boat Co. Its name was "glider" and its original owner was R.I.Stearns of Chicago. Fully documented and all specs available. For a serious racer, this is an excellent value. It only needs one small area to be patched or have the plywood replaced as it has a bit of rippling delamination. It has always been stored inside.

This is a great example of a classic Old Town canoe. The Otca model is deep, wide, and roomy. It was designed to be large capacity, but able canoe. She has been completely restored and is ready to paddle. The seats have been re-caned and the hull has been made watertight with an original Old Town patch kit. Original documentation indicates it is canoe number 177077, order number 5156 and shipped on 8/8/67 to Marine Construction Co., Foot of Commerce Street. Wilmington Delaware.

16 Feet Pre-1930 Mullins War Canoe
This is a very rare canoe made by the Mullins Manufacturing Corp of Salem Ohio. Mullins originally produced decorative pressed steel items and got into boat manufacturing in the 1890's. At one time they were one of the largest producers of boats. Very few of these boast are known to still exist and this is the only one that we have seen in the last 10 years.

A nice looking Old Town Canoe. It is 16 feet long and was used at a Boy Scot Camp. The boat has been put awayy and not used for more than 25 years. The canvas may need to be replaced but the canoe is otherwise in good condition.

22' 6 Feet 1919 St. Lawrence Skiff by Cuppernal of Clayton
This is a very original and very deluxe Cuppernall of Clayton St. Lawrence Skiff. Birds Eye Maple decks and decorative styling on the decks make this a one of a kind. In excellent shape, this boat has been in the family of Cleveland Dodge for many years and has lived at the Dodge compound on Wild Goose Island, Clayton, NY. She is sailed each summer on the St. Lawrence River and of course comes with her complete sails, mast & boom. This boat has a file at the Antique Boat Museum and is a registered boat with that organization (number 216). The early production date of this skiff belies it's condition which is impeccable. As far as can be told, this boat has been in use annually on the St. Lawrence River since it's birth. The records show only one other owner since 1919. The price of this boat accurately reflects it's condition and rarity.

This is an excellant example of american craftsmanship original cond. My Great uncle repainted in 1951, I have reciept from Old Town Conoe Co. for 1qt paint. To the best of my knowlege nothing has been replaced. Wood appears to be orignal.

17 Feet 1922 Old Town Canoe
This 1922 Old Town canoe has been beautifully restored. To fully enjoy the wonder of a masterpiece like this one, you must experience it in the water. It is a dream to paddle, and glides easily through the water. It has been gently used since its restoration, and remains in very nice condition. It would be happy to be your weekend paddler or be placed on display in your home to enjoy the fine American craftsmanship and deep beauty of the mahogany and cedar. This canoe, serial number 71445, is a 17 foot AA grade Otca model with red Western cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, and mahogany seats, thwarts, and decks. It was fitted with a keel and floor rack and painted dark green. It was shipped on July 7, 1922. This canoe comes with a scan of the original build certificate. Also I am including two almost new paddles. Both are We-No-Nah 52 inch, one straight, one bent shaft.

This is a lovely reproduction cedar strip canoe which is 90% complete at this point. Included with this canoe are most of the itemsd needed to finish the work. These include, a tube containing fiberglass cloth, a coat of resin and a row of ash strips to finish the inside and outside gunnel. Also inlcuded is a board for the forward and aft deck. The seats are ready and complete as is the center spreader bar.

Unknown builder of this boat that is estimated to be in the mid 1800's. A very typical Adirondack Guide Boat of that period with a straight stem and gently sheer. This is a boat that has very little known about it...but is obvious to have had a long and storied history in Northern New York.

This boat was made by Bill Vines from Ogdensburg, a well known builder. The boat was drawn on the lines of the original Hollis St. Lawrence River punt and was made for the Frederic Remington Museum annual fund raiser. It comes complete with the Fredeic Remington Museum and the paddles are hand painted. This is a one of a kind boat as the Remington Museum only had ONE of these boats made. The boat has a West System bottom to ensure that boat is alwasy ready for water and will require NO swelling.
