In the late 1970's Douglas Bassett of Toronto ordered a custom built boat to be made by Vic Carpenter of Muskoka, Ontario. The boat was to be a large gentleman runabout which was designed to be sleek and fast. It was powered 2 supercharged Chrysler 440 CID engines generating 1200 HP and providing speeds of up to 75 MPH. The wood was all inlay in the hull, topsides and transom and was launched in 1980. The boat is an eye catcher anywhere that it goes and has had only 2 owners since new. It has always been stored indoors and used in the cool fresh water Lakes in the Muskoka region North of Toronto. The boat is now being offered for sale and while it does not have a trailer, one can be made available for delivery.
