The mahogany hull and gunwales have been redone. The engine is a Gray Marine Fireball 170 V8 with an rebuilt original mechanical fuel pump. The motor starts very easily both runs and sounds great. It has dual side draft carburetors. I've had the boat in a few shows. This engine configuration does stop people in their tracks. Since I've had the boat, I've also installed a new marine battery and replaced the bilge pump. I have kept the old bilge pump as it is original. The O-rings that turn the pump wheel have failed. I've not taken the time to run a replacement set down, but felt that it was important to include this pump with the boat as it is the original factory pump.

The boat does have a very rare sliding bimini. The boat did not have a mooring cover. I had a custom cover created that matches the boat. The boat has dual docking lights that now have two new bulbs and work very well. The hull has been glassed to the waterline. The boat does not need to be soaked and does not take on water.
