Our mini "Riva" is said to have been the 1954 New York Boat Show flag bearer for the Sea Bird Boat Company. Hull number 54-01 is dressed to the nines with a forward deck spotlight, two horns and a elegantly styled rounded two piece windshield. It hits all the high notes in sporty period-correct design and seaworthiness. Purchased in 2015, the SeaBird is a blast to drive with it's six cylinder Buchanan K licensed by Chris-Craft for Canadian manufacture pushing it powerfully to a 30mph cruising speed. The boat was gone through entirely by McCrea Marine in Henderson Harbor NY. There the motor was sorted with a new carburetor, new custom made aluminum fuel tank, refitted rudder housing and shaft log along with new caulking to the bottom planks making her a quick sealing and dependable utility. The reason we're selling her is because we have too many boats and am not using her. She was last in the water in summer of 2020 and is currently registered in NY expiring 2024.
