1965 Luger Le Continental Nearly all original except for the wiring and a raised transom. The engine and trailer are original as well. 1965 Luger LeContinental, 16-foot boat, with the original 50-horsepower Mercury motor and original trailer. The motor overall is very clean and in good shape, as is the rest of the boat, though both could use TLC. I was told by a few people that it needs a carb-cleaning and tune-up. I switched to a new battery and it seemed it was either a starter or solenoid issue. I currently have it stored in my The Luger boats came with decks available in any of three color options: Tropic Coral; Bali Blue; or Harbor Green, all with a Harbor White hull. The boats featured molded-in flotation chambers in the seat bottoms, full length molded fiberglass stringers, and a transom consisting of two layers of 3/4? plywood with a 1/4? layer of fiberglass between them. This transom would hold either two 45 hp engines or one 90 hp outboard.
