The mahogany hull and gunwales have been redone. The engine is a Gray Marine Fireball 170 V8 with an rebuilt original mechanical fuel pump. The motor starts very easily both runs and sounds great. It has dual side draft carburetors. I've had the boat in a few shows. This engine configuration does stop people in their tracks. Since I've had the boat, I've also installed a new marine battery and replaced the bilge pump. I have kept the old bilge pump as it is original. The O-rings that turn the pump wheel have failed. I've not taken the time to run a replacement set down, but felt that it was important to include this pump with the boat as it is the original factory pump.

3622417 Feet 1930 Chris Craft Runabout Model 99$15,000
We have the original build list. The hull number is 14161. Per the build list the boat was originally sold to the dealer Minnesota Marine in Minnetonka, MN in 1930. They then sold it to a resort in northern Minnesota on Pelican Lake. My father then bought it from the owner of the resort in the early 70's as he said it wasn't a very good fishing boat and didn't want it. So he bought a trailer and hauled it out of the guys boat house where it was stored. He did some work to it then and used it on Gull Lake outside Brainard, Minnesota. My father had the original 4-41 Gray Marine engine rebuilt and then shortly after restored the rest of the boat around 20 years ago. But life and other projects got in the way and it never made it back in the water and none of the metal pieces made it back on as you can see in the pictures (although we have them). All the wood seems solid and so we think all it would need is a sand, a few screw heads fixed and a re varnish and painting to make good again.

The engine is a 1950's Chris Craft Model A which replaced the earlier engine which was underpowered. This is a very nice entry level Chris Craft for anyone wishing to enter the hobby.

2846118 Feet 1931 Fay & Bowen Twin Cockpit$16,000
I have owned the boat since 3/25/06. I have researched the boat and know of only two others in existence. Everything on the boat is original except the seat upholstery. The boat has been rewired. The engine has had a valve job. I have had the boat in the water two times since I owned it for short runs. The first time I burned the points up due to no resistor in electrical from 6 to 12 volt conversion. The second time was idling poorly and throttle linkage was sticking under front deck. All the above items have been corrected. From the marine survey there is a slight freeze bulge at lower stem area, finish lifting forward on port side and mid port at water line, and keel at rudder drawing. Also noted in the survey was "With a small amount of crafting of the finish the value will increase greatly". Includes a spare engine block, head, and misc parts

3072018'6 Feet Lindsay Sport Special Dispro$17,000
Disappearing Propeller Boats are widely known for their collectability and utilitarian nature. This Lindsay Sport Special model is a fairly luxurious model with laminated decks on both the bow and stern along with a mother-in-law seat up front. Hatch covers hide a single cylinder Caron engine, a fairly uncommon engine option. The dashboard, fittings etc appear to be all original. Decks on this boat are bright and rot free which is remarkable for its age. The ribs are in nice shape, even in the bottom of the boat. There is one small hole in the planking above the waterline that should be fixed. I'm told by a member of the Dippy Club that the keel will need to be refastened but otherwise the boat is solid and would be a great boat for the right owner.

Last in the water in 1992. Motor was winterized before storage. This is a great running boat and rides as advertised. She was originally on Lake George, traded in on another boat, and was then stored for years at the dealer. When the dealer went out of business, the inventory of boats were sold at auction. The current owner purchased the boat in 1983-84. It was put in on the Great Sacandaga Lake in the town of Day, and was used every weekend and vacation for the next 5 or 6 years. In that time while trailering it to a show, a bottom board and the chine broke. All the chines were then replaced, a small section of keel and only the boards that were damaged on the bottom. The sub floor of the triple V bottom was replaced with 1/4" plywood west system, in place of the 1/4" mahogany. She was then used on Long Lake, NY for 2 years. The boat was then put away in a barn with wooded floors until 2007.

A very friendly low-speed, low-noise, 'chug-chug-chug motor', built the same year as Titanic. The ignition, navigation lights and searchlight are all 12 volt. A solar cell keeps the battery topped off. Fuel supply is by gravity, there is no fuel pump or alternator. There is very little to ever need service or to get out of order. There is no starter motor - the engine is readily started by foot, slowly rolling over the flywheel. There is a compression release that makes this an easy process. I have had this vessel since 1986 and she has always been stored inside and I have never had any trouble with the engines. The fuel capacity is 150 gal. I have replaced the hsfat since the old one had a vibration in it. Both props have been rebuilt and brought back to normal. No hour meter but it does require a full quart of oil for each engine after a full days run and it has been that way since I bought it in 1986. The instruments ahve been replaced and thew boat has not been in the water for 2 years although we hooked the engines to water and ran them for an hour each year. They were then fogged and winterized. We have taken many btrips to the Great Lakes with the family through the yers but now that I am retired it is time to downsize. We also have a 1956 27 foot Chris Craft that we are using now .
