Designed by Wilbur Wheelock in 1898, this boat was built in 1993 as a replica and aisled for 20 years. It glides a mile in 20 scull strokes with tow aboard and can hold four. Dinghy sailed, it comes about with skill and air. Under sweeps, she sneaks in ponds and moves through 5 foot swells or carries 500#. The boat is 21 feet 10 lap strake St. Lawrence Rowing Skiff with inlaid display surfaces and 10 wood varieties including bronze. It is 48 inches wide with pin locks and fishing pole supports. The Sprit sail is by N. Wilson of Maine. Displacement board up 7", down 28". Centerboard and truck are sheet iron with bronze joints. Road trailer slung for easy single handed vehicle ramp launching. Cushions, rope fenders, covers, anchor and rode, parts bag and boat hook included. Trailer dolly as well beach dolly.
