This is a 1914 Morris Canoe and sold originally as a Type 1 Model A with open gunwhales. This canoe came from the Indian Lake area of NY where it had been stored in a boat house for many yrs. I purchased it because it appears to never have been worked on and retains its originality. This is a exceptionally fully intact Morris . Three ribs were neatly scarfed in at some point but otherwise this canoe is solid. There are some cracks in the planking that may require attention. I'm having offer it due to finances as I restore a couple other wood/ canvas canoes for my personal use.
