In the glorious Pre-War phase of wooden boating this vessel was the choice of only the most wealthy individuals in the country. It was commonly seen squiring people into New York Harbor for their day on Wall Street and Chris Craft made a total of 65 of these boats. Only a handful remain today and they are still seen as a fabulous note to a bygone era. The decks and sides have all been stripped and redone on this boat which has been owned by the current owner for the last 9 years. This is one of a small handful of these boats that still remain today in existence. Over 6000 man hours have been put into the complete restoration of this boat and it is remarkable in that much of the wood on the boat is original. The boat is structurally sound and well appointed throughout. The engines are in solid condition. This is an awesome boat with a very interesting ownership history and one worthy of serious consideration if you are considering a tribute to the "Golden Age".
