In 1979 the Fish Brothers resurrected the original blueprints from Delphine IV and built a faithful replica of the gold cup beauty. The original Delphine IV was completely lost in a fire. This is a very accurate replica but has modern power for excellent performance and reliability. The original boat was designed by George Crouch in 1925 and was modified with a "shingled" stepped hull in 1926. The boat went on to win the prestigious 1932 APBA Gold Cup and the 1932 President Cup. This is your chance to own a stunning replica and participate in vintage racing events! The boat itself is correct in every way and has been recently stripped and refinished. It has fresh epoxy on the sides and the boat looks like glass. the chrome has been re-done and the floors are grated. The boat has the classic stepped down chine.The bilge is freshly painted and has varnish on the outside. sound and ready and is a fabulous collector piece.
