A dear friend of mine (friend 1) saw this boat at a boat show in Annapolis, Md in 1994. He was taken by its style and construction, He was so taken by the boat he started to investigate the brand. He found that there were only 18 of these boats manufactured. They were all special order boats for VIPs. A year or two later, the same boat he saw at Annapolis became available for purchase, so he bought it. A few years later he found that one of the 27’ versions came up for sale.... he upgraded to the 27’, & sold the 21’ to a mutual friend (friend #2). It just so happens that friend #2 had just purchased a new 26’ SeaRay, that he decided was too big. So, friend #2 took his new SeaRay and his newly acquired 21’ James Anthony back to his SeaRay dealer and had the complete drive trains swapped. He sold the SeaRay, and put approximately 50 hours on the James Anthony on the Chicahomany River where he lives. He then parked the boat under his lean-to where it stayed for 14 years, until I persuaded him to sell it to me. In the last 2 1/2 years I have completely gone through the boat. All the wood is refinished to a very high standard, all leather upholstery has been replaced, an extensive sorting of the mechanicals (list available upon request). She’s spectacular, health issues force the sale... I am motivated, let’s talk!
