Hull # 5653 is one of a kind: an all mahogany Century Coronado. No white deck or slabs on this beauty: she was custom built for a doctor who knew that a boat like this was meant to spirit him away from the clinical and into the richness of life. The tuck and roll upholstery in cream and maroon is straight out of a Peter Ferber Antique Boat Show poster. The '56 Lincoln steering wheel, the chrome, the burgee masts and the windshield are all in fine, original condition. The brightwork is deep mahogany throughout. Turn the key and the engine roars to life. Throw the shift into drive and step on the gas. Yes, step on the gas. This boat has a gas pedal on the floor and a shift lever on the steering shaft. So you can have someone on your arm and still be in control.
