Shepherd boats are famous for their quality construction and beautiful designs. They were built with the best materials including top quality mahogany, white oak stringers and frames, stainless steel fuel tanks and tempered glass windshields. Noted for their extra strong hulls, they could handle the rough waters of the Great Lakes. This 1961 model 105 features a V-drive Chrysler Marine 318 V-8 with dual exhaust. The engine runs great and sounds great too! It is ready to launch and enjoy! The aft engine compartment allows for a more open seating arrangement, unobstructed by an engine box. This boat was kept in the same boat house on a lift, on a lake in Ontario, Canada from 1961 (new) until the fall of 2022. It had light use during those years. All wood is sound and the bottom was caulked and refinished in 2023. A new bilge pump with auto switch, a new water temperature gauge, and a new bilge blower were installed in 2023.
