This beautifully restored double cockpit Chris Craft with red leather upholstery is a solid and fine runner. Includes Chris Craft burgee, ensign, both flap poles, custom cover with name and quality trailer. Only 503 of these beautiful Racing Runabouts were built between 1948 and 1954. With its sleek, low sheer line the Racing Runabout looks fast even when it's sitting idle. Very clean boat Hercules MBL 158hp engine fully restored. No soak bottom. One of the most desirable of the Chris Craft Runabouts, this boat has a proper “V” windshield. Most of the restoration was done by Don Philbrick and the final varnish was done by Sierra Boatworks in California 1998. Carefully stored and protected and garaged. Participated in the Concours d’ Elegance on Lake Tahoe in 1989 and 1999. Flyer lives in north Idaho. Beautiful restoration by Philbrick with no-soak bottom, V-windshield,158hp, quality trailer
