This is a very intriguing, deluxe outboard model built the American Car & Foundry corporation in 1929. The "Wason" model features a unique triple cockpit design and an inset outboard configuration with the engine sitting in a motor-well. This example was rescued in 2007 and then underwent a comprehensive restoration where she was totally replanked in Honduran mahogany, refinished, reupholstered, and powered with a rare electric starting Evinrude Speedifour outboard engine. The boat runs excellent and is a real head turner. Originally advertised as "America's Super-Outboard", the Wason-18 is a significant part of outboard history.
