Fully restored, classic 1965 Hydrodyne 17’ Deluxe fiberglass runabout powered by Mercruiser 140 HP I/O is offered for sale on Lake Lanier, Georgia. One of the best-looking boats of the era, the Hydrodyne was known for its advanced design, cored hull, suspension cockpit seat, rugged construction and safety flotation. This boat was originally purchased from Ferguson-Poole Marine in Atlanta on February 27, 1965 and subsequently saw four documented owners prior to its complete restoration. Included is an album containing restoration photos, historical company information and powertrain data. Boat will be shown at our dock to serious buyers. Thanks for your interest. The wiring, instruments and bilge blower have been added/updated to ABYC standards. The engine has been professionally rebuilt and modernized with current intake/exhaust manifolds. The engine is mated with a 1989 rebuilt Mercruiser outdrive. The transom is rock solid and the hull has been re-cored stronger than original.
