Learn how the process works (FAQ)
I am currently the 3rd owner, or custodian, of this all-original boat. Hull Number CC-17-697 was initially delivered to Dewyer Boat Works in Eagle River, Wisconsin in August 1954. This fresh water boat has been used for pleasure, fishing and water skiing on NY’s Finger Lakes for the past 5 years. There was a restoration done that was completed between 2008 and 2012 by Lowell Boats in Greensboro, NC. During that time the 230-cubic inch 6-Cylinder Chris Craft Marine 95-HP “K” series engine was overhauled by Van Ness Engineering in Wyckoff, New Jersey in 2009. It has a 12 VDC electrical system with Electronic Ignition. Always well maintained and stored indoors, it has a top speed of about 30-mph. The documentation includes the history, restoration receipts, and maintenance records along with the Mariners Museum Hull Card, copies of the original engine and boat manuals.
