This skiff was donated to the museum in 1971 and reconditioned in 1979. It is pretty typical construction but looks to be on the cruder side, fastened steel clinch-nails. It has unusually shaped deck-beams. The reconditioning done in 1979 was essentially a re-painting and the addition of varnished mahogany deck caps. The hull appears to be in fair condition with visible cracks along a few planks. This was deaccessioned from the collection and all proceeds will go to the direct care of ABM's collection.
