I found this boat on Craigslist 2 years ago. I was only going to buy the windshield for another restoration I was about to start but when I saw the condition of the boat I bought it all. It had been kept in a barn for 30 years . Every piece of chrome lights steering wheel controls are original from 58. No rechroming needed. A restaurant at Disney World has considered buying it for the boathouse floating art exhibit. Duraplane boats was started by a WWII fighter pilot by the name of T I. Weston in Columbia SC. There were only 1000 of these boats ever produced.
