Originally bought by the President of Continental Can in 1929. It was taken to Lake Placid where it spent many years. Later on, it was owned by Kate Smith who spent many summers working and relaxing on Lake Placid. In the late 50's it was stored in a barn and forgotten until it was found by it's previous owner who owned the boat for 30 years. During this time, it was completely restored to it's original condition. This past winter, the boat was completely revarnished and a new green interior and floor were installed. This boat has been a show winner throughout the years and draws crowds where ever it goes. The awards are too numerous to mention. This is a very rare boat in beautiful condition with a great history that is worthy of serious consideration.
