The owner was Falconer Jones, thus the boat’s name Falcon. There is a plaque at The Antique Boat Museum, Clayton, NY with information about this.

This boat has been in our family for about 30 years and used yearly in the 1000 Islands. We are looking to find a good home for it.

I purchased this Lyman January 2024 on Georgia’s Lake Hartwell shore. The Lyman had been sitting on the 1958 Gator trailer for along time. The Lyman hull # 53269 built in Sandusky Ohio in 1959 one of 366 15ft 4' Lyman’s built that year.  Totally restored over the year, replacing any bad wood, built a new transom replaced some ribs, new gunwales, new keel and built all new decks and added a new windshield. Sits on its restored 1958 Gator trailer and powered with a restored 1958 Johnson 35 hp outboard. This Lyman took the Craftsman ship award at the Smith Mountain Lake Boat Show Sept. 2025.

We’ve owned since 2015 and had refinished in 2020. During the season, it is stored in a covered slip with side curtains. 79 hours on engine since rebuild. Seats reupholstered when refinished in 2020.

One of the nicest Lyman 30 Islanders around. A timeless statement of design and performance. Thoughtfully and meticulously restored with all records in a leather bound case. It won 1st place in Chesapeake antique boat show. A few years ago she was shipped to Maine and has been in the professional care and storage of a highly reputable yacht yard. Lucy is a solid boat mostly original. Decks and transom have been replaced. New wiring, steering cables. Used original Sandusky paint and varnish. 9 coats of varnish - 5 coats of paint, 3 coats of cooper bottom paint. Trailer is original - sanded - rust proofed and painted. New tires and bearings. Suzuki 25 HP, four stroke, computerized ignition and diagnostics, power tilt and lift, electric start, new impeller. Cost 4600.00 in 2016 and has less than 100 hrs. Boat featured in the 2017 Lyman calendar. Have not used it in the last three years, inside storage since being rebuilt.

This boat has been meticulously and professionally maintain for the past five years. The current owner, the seller, has had his Boatyard undertake every recommended maintenance and upgrade for the past five years. This is a turn key Boat. This boat was completely restored in 2008. New bottom and anything that looked vaguely suspect was replaced and refinished. Canvas is in excellent condition. All teak decks. Boat shows well in all aspects.

This classic boat is in great condition and ready to enjoy. This unique model has the hinged front seat backs and opening windshields. Relocated from Lake Erie to Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia and reconditioned in the summer of 2024. The hull was refinished inside and out. All wood is sound. The 6 Cylinder 110 HP Gray Marine engine has new plug wires, points, condenser and coil, new water pump impeller, new hoses, and a new voltage regulator. The carburetor and the generator were rebuilt by Van Ness Engineering. The engine was painted in the original color and a modern oil filter was installed. New gas tank and fuel lines with a water separating filter installed. A new cutlass bearing and a reconditioned prop were installed and the prop shaft and rudder have new packing. A folding top and side curtains are included but will need new canvas. Cushions included but also need some repair or replacement. A full cover and miscellaneous boat essentials are included. A custom dual axle trailer that supports the boat well is included. The trailer has new epoxy paint, new tires, new LED lights and a new winch and tongue jack.

This a two owner boat that has been meticulously maintain as it was own by a wood boat craftsman. I love this boat but moving overseas and need to sell it to classic boat lovers. Lots of money has been spent on this boat

This boat has been in our family since 2010 and we hate to see her go, but we have another wooden boat project and want to find new caretakers. She is a wonderful cruiser with tons of space for friends and family.  This hull is a slightly more rare 23' without the sleeper cabin which moves the dash forward and creates lots of space in the back for guests.  The 23' length is one of the best riding Lyman hulls as she is not too small like the 18' islanders and not too big like the 26'.  She has a modern Crusader 350 with a new long block circa 2017, which has proven very reliable since installation.  The motor has a heat exchanger so only coolant is running in the main block.  The hull is original and the deck was replaced in the early 2000's with a more dressy look that goes well with the varnished covering boards.  She comes with full cushions and a bimini which snaps to the windshield.  Lyman's are user boats.  We have used her and she has provided at least four young kids their first boat ride, including our daughter.  We hope the new caretakers will continue that legacy!

This classic lapstrake, clinker-built outboard has been in one family for over 20 years. The boat was restored by a well-known restorer on Wellesley Island in the Thousand Islands approximately 20 years ago. Last hull repair was performed in 2010 by another well known restorer in Alexandria Bay, NY. For the last twelve years it has been in heated storage over the winter. It is in the water and running as of August 2024. The engine has had one recent repair, for a split shift rod keeper in the gear case. The hull and topside would benefit from a repainting and sanding/revarnishing. The Lyman is a lot of fun to tool around in and it takes the waves well for a small boat.

Unique opportunity to own one of the finest 29.6 foot Lyman Sportsmen’s in the country. I’m the second owner of this pristine 1967 Sportsman. RARE FORM was originally built with solid teak decks (perhaps 1 of 1). Mint condition. Twin Crusader 327 engines producing 250 hp each. The bottom of the boat has been completely restored. Gauges were updated with Stewart Warner instrumentation. She was outfitted with double stack Buell marine air horns. All upholstered seating and v berth cushions were custom made and installed. Custom fabricated bimini top has been added utilizing umbrella fabric in 1 inch aluminum framing. All interior floorboards were replaced with marine grade marine plywood and sealed. New marine grade woven flooring was installed. Top decks and interior mahogany interior brightwork received 5 coats of marine varnish. Asking $159k. Located in Wayzata MN.

We are the third owner of this St. Lawrence River Boat. Boat was last operated in the summer of 2019. Upon pulling the boat that year, the engine was pulled and delivered to Van Ness Engineering in New Jersey where it went through a lengthy and complete rebuild. The Gray Marine Model 100, 226 cid., 6-cylinder engine was completed in summer of 2023. It has not been reinstalled. The motor was converted from 6-volt to 12-volt. Boat and motor are in dry storage (motor in heated storage). Boat includes a custom loadmaster Trailer purchased new in 2017. Boat is in good shape. It has had some hull and transom work (2017-18) and could use some work on the windshield. I have the original boat user manual and all paperwork on the trailer purchase and engine rebuild.

This well-maintained, rare boat is fantastic on the San Francisco Bay. Equipped with a deep V fiberglass hull and Bennett trim tabs, it can take chop while keeping passengers comfortable. She is reliable, fast, and powered by a 302 cubic inch V8 OMC Cobra engine. The gelcoat and wood trim are in great condition. Mechanically, it is also in excellent condition. The interior cushions could use replacement but are functional. Many recent upgrades and preventative maintenance items have been completed: a fresh engine oil/filter change, a fresh fuel filter change, and a fresh carburetor rebuild. All fuel pumps and lines, including the vent and fuel fill hose, have been replaced. Steering/throttle cables, including the control arm, have been replaced. The distributor cap, wires, spark plugs, and bilge pump were recently replaced. The sale includes a full cover, mooring cover, dock lines, fenders, life jackets, and fire extinguishers. The boat is located in Sausalito, California.

This is a very rare example of an early Lyman 24' Utility. Uniquely appointed with a rear facing aft seat, forward bench seat, and dual jump seats on either side of the engine. She has been fully restored and repowered with a Crusader 5.7L engine, coupled to a Hurth 1.22:1 down-angle hydraulic transmission. Recently refinished and ready to enjoy this season. She sits atop a custom 2010 Loadmaster trailer and is complete with a mooring cover. 12V system, bilge pump, and dual batteries w/battery switch.

20’ 1962 Lyman Runabout     Hull #Y1280    Transom Portia II Tunnel Bay     Purchased in 2020 after completion by Wykes Boatworks of Harlem, Ontario of its full and beautiful restoration including repairs and refinishing throughout.     Featuring mahogany ceilings, new gray flooring, boarding steps and pole and complete rewiring.     Mercruiser V6 Engine in excellent condition with a new long-life battery.     New seat backs, cushions and a full cockpit canvas bimini by Delux Auto Trim of Brockville, Ontario.    Fitted with new lines and fenders and a new Garmin.     Comes with all required safety equipment.     The sole blemish in this boat consists of degradation of some areas of the deck which have been exposed to the sun – a quart of the marine varnish used by Wykes is included.     This sale comes about as a result of changes in personal circumstances which have made regular use of the boat difficult.    The Lyman is moored at the Tunnel Bay Boat Club docks in the harbour at Brockville.  

$10,000 OBO, Needs some frame replacement. “Perfect Evening” is a two-owner boat whose first life was centered on a southern Vermont mountain lake. Since 2010, she has been kept on Lake George in the Adirondacks, always docked under a canopy, and stored in winter in a garage. Over the past several years, the boat has received attention through a local restoration shop. In mid-2018, the bottom was sanded 3 times and painted with 3 coats of copper bronze paint. The transom was stripped, sanded, bleached, stained, wood sealer was applied, followed by 10 coats of varnish. In December 2018 and January of 2019 the starboard side covering board was replaced along with sanding and re-varnishing of the decks and painting of the sides. In May of 2019, the engine had a complete tune up, including the rebuilding of both carburetors. A compression test was done on all cylinders: 1 - 110 psi, 2 - 140 psi, 3, 4 and 5 were at 130 psi and 6 was 120 psi. "Perfect Evening" is in generally very good condition and ready for her next owner.

This boat just underwent a major restoration. All new decking, new wiring, major engine work, new carb, all brightwork sanded bare and re-stained and varnished. The hull is in magnificent shape and the boat is as close to new as any Lyman you will see.

This Lyman Islander has been in our family since it was new. Its first 40 years were spent on Lake George, NY at the family home. Suzy's dad, Patrick, traded kitchen cabinets and a small amount of cash for it. Since Patrick's death, it has been kept on Lake Champlain, VT. The boat, originnally named "The Speed Merchant" (a tongue in cheek reference to it's slow and steady pace) is renamed "On Moonlight Bay" during our stewardship of it. It has been trhough a complete renovation in the early 80's and will need some refinishing by the new owners. The engine was rebuilt in early 90's and is in reliable working order. This boat is great for fishing or picnics with friends. She is in solid condition and well loved by our family.

This is nice example of a well cared for user boat. The upholstery and exterior paint and varnish are in good condition. The engine runs great and is enjoyed by the owner every season. The interior varnish on sides and engine box could use a touch up. The bottom is very tight and doesn't take on much water at all after being soaked up. This boat is ready to go, just needs a new owner. Comes with a very nice Loadmaster Tandem axle trailer with extended height winch stand making launching and retrieving very easy. La Lee is by far, one of the nicest Lyman 30's around today. She has been immaculately maintained and is in near perfect condition. With her wide beam and large cockpit, this is a perfect boat to entertain on. Having been maintained by Lyman-Morse over the past couple of years, LA LEE is a beautiful turn-key, retrofitted picnic boat. Engines run strong. Boat is available to be seen at any time year-round. This is a great 1966 Lyman Utility. It has been fully restored and has a Renault Twin Carb, 4-Cylinder I/O engine. It also has a full new canvas and all the work was done by a professional. This remarkable Lyman Islander sat in storage from the early 1960's until 2000 and is in very original condition. In the 2000's the tops, sides and bottom were stripped and refinished, the engine was torn down and rebuilt, and all wiring was replaced. In 2018, a new, larger canvas top was added and the sides and bottom were repainted. She sits on a 2004 trailer custom-made for the boat. Used nearly every day on a Florida freshwater river for sunset and cocktail cruising. A perfect boat! [June 2021 update: new battery, bilge pump and float, trickle charger, and dock lines. Built in 1989, this reproduction Lyman Sportsman features a low maintenance fiberglass hull and all of the appeal of a wooden boat. She sports teak decks, teak flooring, mahogany ceiling panels and all mahogany trim. She has been beautifully refinished and outfitted with all new interior woodwork. Hull sides have been refinished in dark blue Imron paint which really sets this boat apart from the others. She was enjoyed on the fresh water lakes of Ohio prior to her move to Florida recently. Complete with a mooring cover and tonneau cover. Full 2017 Garmin GPS system. Needs absolutely nothing and is ready to enjoy!
