“Growler” is an outstanding example of a well-maintained family boat that is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Present owner since 2022. It has been in the water for daily use every summer from the 1960s through October 2025. Now in the Antique Boat America Clayton Showroom. Brightwork & Paint: New copper-bronze anti-fouling bottom paint (2026) Foredeck stripped and refinished (2025) New Hull paint above waterline (2025) All other exterior brightwork (2021) Interior brightwork, cabinets, and paneling is excellent Hull below waterline completely restored (2022): No rot found Lapstrakes below waterline completely stripped to bare wood Two coats of CPES applied to all surfaces below waterline Laps below waterline were rebonded with 3M 5200 Laps were re-clinched and re-screwed with silicon bronze fasteners Three coats of 2-part barrier primer & fresh copper-bronze bottom paint applied New cushions (2024) New Sunbrella canvas including top, side windows, and mooring cover (2023) Crusader 270HP / 350 cu in V8 engine with Velvet Drive transmission. Age and hours unknown. Excellent running condition. Dual axle 2009 Load Rite 5 Starr galvanized trailer with brakes, new bunks installed in 2024 All accessories included: dual batteries with Perko switch; Garmin GPSmap 531S; redundant bilge pumps; fenders; PFDs; fire extinguishers; bilge blower, etc.
