Originally from Muskoka area. Fully restored, refastened in 2010. Boathouse kept. Low hours on motor. Custom, plush interior, lined with mahogany. Fresh varnish,bottom caulked and bedded in spring. This is a fine example of this model with all the options. All rechromed with excellent Bimini and rain cover. 3 owners.

with minimal work in some varnish and paint on the sides, this Shepherd could be amazing. Several new bottom planks done in mid 2000's along with new paint and varnish. Engines completely rebuilt in 2000 and have been used very little since that time. total hours since rebuild 537. Engines have not been run since 2010. The boat has been sitting in the water on Lake Winnipeg used as a floating boat house. Bottom is very tight, and pumps never run as she sits in the water. New Upholstery, sides curtains, boat cover and cushions all in 2020. Excellent condition. make offer

I purchased this boat back in 2007 as a project when I owned Pecks Marina in Ivy Lea, ON, on the St. Lawrence River. It sat in my workshop until 2019 when I finally started working on her full restoration. I turned the boat over and put on an all-new 5200 bottom, then flipped her back to work on the top sides. All new mahogany decking, wiring, engine mounts, and flooring. Gas tank was steam cleaned and epoxy coated inside. Instruments are new as is the upholstery. Chrome was redone as well. The windshield unfortunately is a plastic replacement but glass can be obtained and installed. "Black & Tan" has only been in the water once last year and for 1 month so far this year (2023). The new engine is not yet fully broken in and needs to be run easily for another 10 hours. This boat is very stable and reliable with all systems being new. Varnish and paint all in very good condition.

This is a very unique Shepherd that was custom ordered and delivered to its first owners in Smiths Falls, ON in 1954. A good restoration candidate that is in solid condition, some work started. This boat comes with all the hardware and a few extra parts. There is no engine included. Original engine was a Chrysler Hemi. The hull is structurally solid and ready to be completed!

I got this to make a playhouse for my grandkids. Then after some research I realized that it is a treasured boat when restored. It is in rough condition but everything seems to be there including the drive train. I think it would be best if it was saved rather than scrapped as I realize that these boats are treasured by folks who appreciate Antique and Classic boats.

I am the third owner of this original Shepherd, boathouse kept for many years in Canada then barn stored by a collector. I keep it in a boathouse all summer and the bottom does not leak. New Mercury 4 Stroke installed in 2018. Runs great!! Much faster!! New flooring and fresh varnish on the entire hull in 2021. Has the original convertible top which can be used as is but should be replaced at some point. This boat needs nothing!! Easy to handle and fun.
