Original Owner: Clover Boldt Baird, summer resident of Hopewell Hall, Wellesley Island, New York and Granddaughter of George C. Boldt - the original owner of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York City, and the builder of historic Boldt Castle on Heart Island in Alexandria Bay, New York. History: In 1989 the boat was purchased and restored by Northern Landworks of Clayton, New York. It was used for fishing and chartered tours in Thousand Islands. In 1997 Richard F. George purchased it and restored it at Restoration & Repair Antique & Classic Boats in Clayton, where it remained in storage until it was transported to Lake Tahoe this summer. The boat has been restored and preserved in storage for 25% of its life.
