This is an elegant and are example of the very popular 25 foot Sportsman made between 1940 and 1941. ONLY 25 of these units were made and this unit bears the serial number 12501 confirming that it was in fact the first unit made of this style. In fact only 12 units were made in 1940. Following a complete and thorough restoration in 2002 this boat has been used very little and has been impeccably taken of during that time. Boat has a 5200 bottom and needs absolutely nothing. Interior, hardware, engine, instrumets, gas tank are all in beautiful show condition. The consecutive hull number 12502 won boat of the year in Clayton in the mid 1990's. This is a boat for the serious collector who wants the appeal of a 25 boat for entertaining and movement aboard as well as it's overall desirability.
