This 1963 Century Resorter 21’ was specially designed to ride softly in the choppy waters of lakes and sounds. Open walk through cockpit allows for plenty of equipment storage. The vinyl fore and aft decks have been removed and replaced with mahogany planking. The inside vinyl panels were likewise planked at that time. The engine is a Chrysler Graymarine 327 cubic inch 238 HP V-8. The engine is the original, electronic ignition having been installed. The engine runs beautifully with plenty of power for skiing. In 2005, this boat had a new 5200 bottom installed with all defective wood replaced.(Photo history) The work was done by professional restorer By 2007, all mahogany had been refinished into a deep gloss. Boat has always been in fresh water. Only 110 of this Resorter model were manufactured which makes this boat rather rare. Convertible top included along with mooring cover. Since 2005 the boat has been sheltered and used no more than three times a year.
