Original Fay Bowen that has been in storage for many years. Built with the best selected Southern cypress hull planking; copper riveted; the best white oak and mahogany all copper fastened, counter bored and plugged decking. Great condition but needs an engine, prop shaft and a few other pieces of hardware. Very nice seating set up in this cypress planked hull with oak coaming boards and mahogany decks. Tight hull, structure is very good and a couple thousand dollars for an engine will make this ready for the water in a few weeks - if you want a show boat some refinishing is all you need to add. Fay Bowen was a top of the line builders from 1900 until the early 1920's. The torpedo hull offers a flatter bottom aft and a more stable ride. Original motor would have been a 5 hp Fay Bowen Single cylinder. A 25 or 30 hp Gray would do an excellent job. Cockpit is 12' Beam is 5'.
