We purchased the vessel in 1991 in Charlotte, Vermont, from her reportedly second owner. According to local legend at the time, after its wartime service ended, first sailed on Lake Champlain, NY, on Father’s Day - hence the name that we’ve proudly preserved. “Father’s Day” and “1941” appear in custom gold leaf on the transom, visible in the photos. Custom trailer. Garage stored. Powered by the original Chrysler flathead 6, running strong and ready to launch and enjoy today. Recent partial restoration by Fish Bros Custom Boats in Queensbury, NY. Included in the sale is the professionally framed original design print (visible in photos) as purchased from The Mariners’ Museum in Newport News, VA where the Chris-Craft company archives for this vessel reside.
