Just when you think they have all been found! This Chris Craft Barrelback is totally barn-fresh. Recently found in a barn where she has been sitting since the mid-1970's. Every piece of wood is original except for the lower transom plank. The bottom is in incredible condition - you could not fit a dime between the plank seams! Engine was in running condition and boat was in regular use when put into storage. The hull bears ID#48609 and engine is #M-10540. Hiding underneath her current waterline and bottom paint is an original green bootstripe and copper bronze bottom. Some remnants of the original upholstery (red) are present in the side pockets. Equipped with folding, Bugatti-style windscreen. Seats, gas cap, and stern pole are missing, but the boat is totally complete otherwise. This is an extremely rare find and would be a perfect restoration candidate, or preserve her current condition.
