Here it is! The canoe is a lovely Carleton. Of course Carleton was bought by Old Town at a later date and the canoe bears the Serial number is 107039. All of the dirty work has already been done, awaits her new owner to finish. This is a sailing canoe but has no sails or sailing hardware included. New canvas has been installed and waits for paint. The interior has been stripped and just needs to be finished. It would to take you until mid winter to get this far, get a jump on your winter project! The canoe was deliverd on July 21st of 1931 to Newark New Jersey and was ordered as a CS canoe or Common Sense and was a Yankee Model. The canoe had open spruce gunwhales and was Maroon in color.
