This is a great, all original Fillinger Class A/B hydroplane built in Kansas City Missouri. The wood, hardware, and canvas deck are all original. Shorty Fillinger began making raceboats after leaving another race boat shop in the area owned by Dick Neal of Neal raceboats. It is rare to find a Fillinger hydro in reasonable shape due to the fact that many of them were raced hard.
