Fanqui is a 1947 Elco 48 foot Deluxe Cruiser. A rare post WWII Elco cruiser. Her lines were derived from the early Elco PT 10 and PT 20 class motor torpedo boats (aka PT Boats). With her Elco plane underbody she rides on top of the water with little effort. Last engines int he boat were 318 CID Chrysler Engines that pushed her along at 21 Knots. Fanqui needs a new home and restoration. There has been a great deal done to the hull by the current owner such as chine logs, stem, planking and stern. Fanqui's bottom is built like a true PT with double diagonal mahogany planking and her top sides are carvel with seam battens.
