Howard Lyon was a smooth talking salesman who convinced Gar Wood to grant him an exclusive arrangement to sell his runabouts after Gar watched him sell so many of his 33 Foot Baby Gar's in record numbers. Lyon would eventually go onto build his own boats after buying land in City Island New York and offered up to 6 different models of his runabouts including the most popular 30 foot version wit the 225 HP Sterling Petrol motor. . This is a fabulous multi-award winning 1930 30' Sea Lyon was restored in 1993, and just completely refinished in 2007. Cold molded epoxy construction throughout. 800ci Sterling Petrel, as original. Green leather upholstery. A great, large runabout, in excellent condition. One of only 5 in existence. Includes triple axle trailer and possible transportation.
