The Hutchinson brothers in Alex Bay made sedans 28-40' in length. There were only 12 of these made...and we have one of the finest. Everything about this boat is original (engine updated). The electrical system has been updated to 12s volt and double bilge pumps installed along with double batteries and a "trickle" charge system for the batteries. All wood and hardware is orginal. This boat has always made the St. Lawrence River home after being built in Alexandria Bay in 1937. The original wicker furniture is still with the boat. The 28' was the only model offered with the engine mounted midship which offered a more stable ride. This boat is in good, solid condition. She is a great runner and is powered by a 1940 Chrysler 140hp engine.
