1963 27' Chris-Craft Sea Skiff Corinthian Express Located “Where it all Began” on the beautiful St. Clair River, this classic cruiser has undergone a meticulous, multi years-long restoration by her owner—a master carpenter with an eye for detail and a passion for preservation. At 27 feet long with a 10-foot beam, she offers a smooth, stable ride and plenty of room to relax. Powered by twin 283 V8 engines (rebuilt with ~55 hours on the port and ~155 hours on the starboard), she’s ready to cruise like it’s a 1960s sock hop all over again. Inside, her V-berth and dinette offer casual dining space and comfortable accommodations for overnight stays. Highlights of the restoration include: All bottom, hull side planks, and transom replaced New bottom ribs and deck framing Completely refastened hull Rebuilt decks and cabin top, replaced vinyl with duralast Rear cockpit deck, cabin sides, bulkheads, and head partitions rebuilt New safety glass in forward cabin and upper station windows Custom-built aluminum-framed side sliding windows with impact glass Rebuilt and reupholstered helm seating New fuel tanks Replaced 1-1/4” stainless shafts Repacked stuffing boxes with new strut bushings Brand-new Michigan propellers Highest quality marine grade materials used throughout Photos of restoration and receipts of materials and engine rebuild available Sunbrella top / side curtains / backdrop Porta potty at head Last surveyed in 2020, she remains in excellent condition and is a standout example of vintage Chris-Craft craftsmanship.
