A classic St. Lawrence River side steer Guide Boat. It has undergone an extensive restoration including new upholstery, new fuel lines, fresh exterior varnish, engine overhauled, and all new interior varnish and fresh bottom paint. The hardware is a great shape and the boat is striking as it glides through the waters of the St. Lawrence River. These boats with the unique side steer were originally Guide Boats used for taking paying customers or "Sports" as they were known fishing in the 1000 Islands. The guide would sit bin the front part of the boat with the "sport" in the back that he/she would not get wet and with a divider between them which usually was a ice box/ bait well. These boats handled very well and were able to easily operate in shallow water and are a signature piece of the 1000 Islands.
