"Adamant", hull number 2 was designed by Fred Goeller and part of a nine boat fleet. Only two of the original boats remain. The Adams Interclub was the precursor to the more well known Quincy Adams 17 class. Found in Mystic, CT., Adamant was restored by current owner in 2005. The restoration included replacing all fasteners with silicon bronze, keel bolts, most of the floors, all deck beams, new deck, transom, cabin and cockpit. She is in excellent structural condition. New sails in 2005, as well as running and standing rigging. "Adamant" sails wonderful and is a great day boat and racer.
