Learn how the process works (FAQ)
This is a relatively rare post-war small cruiser or "cuddy" today. It is constructed of 5/8" marine plywood and Phillipine mahogany planking over mahogany ribs with oak keel, stringers and chines. The boat was totally restored in 1998 at which time it was repowered with a refurbished GM V-8 modified by Chris Craft. Hours on the engine are unknown but total less than 200 hours in total since restoration. Fresh varnish and hull paint in 2003, with the transom taken down to bare wood. "Miss Maggie" is mechanically and cosmetically excellent, althought there are a couple of varnish "rub" spots that need attending to in the spring and her bow cap needs its annual sand and repaint (expand/shrink causes the caulk to bulge out each year).
