"Strike Three" was built for the founder of Bauer skates as a runabout boat for his kids. During the construction of the boat, 3 strikes occurred. Chrysler, Bauer Skates and the shipping company that was supposed to deliver the new boat. Eager to get the new boat into the water, the family hauled the 22' goliath with a 13' Willy's Jeep from WWII. Don Bauer said the front wheels barely touched the road. Once in Muskoka, the boat resided at the family cottage. Its has spent the years in a protected boathouse. A major restoration was done in 1990.
