When Garwood industries stopped buidling boats the molds, jigs and forms were bought by Mr. Edward Kaunitz who then took up residence 2 miles north of Algonac, Michigan and began building custom boats which greatly resembled Garwood's. The 2 most popular models were the Model 19 Sports Utility and the Model 20 Deluxe Utility. Purchased in 1995 from the original owner this vessel has had a new engine installed along with all new upholstery and 12 coats of Epiphanes varnish. The boat has ONLY been in the water one season since 1995 and has always been in covered storage. While not totally original, this boat is in excellent condition and will make a terrific user boat which will turn heads wherever it goes. The boat is totally ready and the owner is motivated to find this boat a good home.
