This is a truly exceptional boat which has seen very little use since the mid 90's and has been very well maintained. The boat has just come through a fresh restoration including a new west System bottom. The boat has gorgeous pigskin leather upholstrey which is correct for that vintage. As well the chrome is in excellent shape and the gauges ahave been re-done by Pat Powell. The decks seams are orange which is actually correct for that year as mentioned in the 1940 model shop memo #632. Later they would discontinue the orange and go with the more traditional white as it apparently did not go over well with the buying public. The engine has been detailed and everything in this boat is corrcet and what you would expect from a Show Condition Barrel Back Chris Craft. Between the years of 1939 and 1942 there were only 433 of these Barrel Backs produced.
