This is a true Canadian skiff (six planks) made by one of the premier boat builders of the Thousand Islands, Fred Huck, over one hundred years ago. The boat is in need of restoration, broken ribs, cracked stem and other physical issues should be considered when looking at this boat. The boat is restorable as a user, and would, with simple cosmetics be a wonderful cottage display of local history. Restoration to original condition would be rather extensive. None the less this is a very rare Huck built skiff from Rockport, Ontario that lived it's life no more than 1,000 yards from where it was built.
