This Barrelback is currently awaiting restoration, but is being offered fully restored if purchase arrangements are made. After restoration, this will be a 90+ boat at any ACBS event. The restoration will also include a full rebuild of the original Model K motor done by Drake Engines. A new 5200 bottom was installed in the early 1990's and had only a few seasons of use. Bottom, frames, and hull planking are solid and in good condition. Decks will be replaced. This is a great opportunity to get a turn-key Barrelback, you will know exactly what is going into the restoration and what you will have at the end of the day. Hull #71920, originally delivered to Hewes Boat Co. in Foxlake, IL. The boat can also be purchased as is for $ 13,000 and you can do the work yourswelf or have your favorite boat restorer do the work to your specifications.
