Probably one of the most sought after boats on the market today are the Barrel backs made from 1939 to 1942. People owning these boats have seen dramatic increases in their value over the years and they continue today.Partially restored in 1986 this boat needs some attention but is a most worthy project. It is missing windshield brackets and the steering wheel needs to be rebuilt or replaced as it is tired and falling apart. Upholstery is in fair condition with no rips or tears. Stern has some minor rot at the waterline near the transom. The good news is that the chine and ribs are all good and all of the wood is original. This boat is straight and needs to be gone through and redone in order to restore it to it's original beauty. Documentation and history of this boat is available and the hull ID# is 719-15. originally optioned with a ski bar this is a great opportunity to restore one of the "true classics" in todays wooden boat market.
