This is a very pretty runabout built by premier builder, Ditchburn. Designed with split cockpits, tall combing boards, teardrop windshield, and an outboard rudder - this boat has a lot of unique features. One of 4 model 17's built in 1936 and the only restored example on the water today. Restoration completed in 1999 with most original wood retained. Powered by a rebuilt 1949 Ford flathead V8 to replace the original 1936 flathead. Runs great and sounds great. The boat receiver fresh varnish in 2010 as well as fresh bottom paint.
